GATHERING & USE OF INFORMATION

The Providence Bruins (“we” or “us”) and PSE Agency is committed to respecting your privacy. In order to participate in some activities, you might be asked to provide some personally identifiable information. Personally identifiable information ("Personal Information") is any information that can be used to identify a specific individual, such as a person's name, date of birth, email address, mailing address (including ZIP code), or phone number. This could be in connection with contests or sweepstakes registrations, subscription based services (like e-newsletters), partnership agreements, ticket transactions, and enter-to-win submissions. The Providence Bruins and PSE Agency will not willfully disclose your personal information to any unaffiliated third party without first receiving your permission. The Providence Bruins and PSE Agency may buy, sell, merge or partner with other companies or businesses at any time, and reserves the right to transfer user information to these companies or businesses in the case of such transactions.

 

Our Website is not set up to automatically collect Personally Identifiable Information (as defined below) from you. Our website automatically collects anonymous information through the use of various technologies to track certain information about the visits to our Website. Anonymous information is information that does not identify you specifically. For example, when you use the Website, we collect your IP address, which is a unique identifier that is associated with your computer. We analyze IP addresses in the aggregate for system administration purposes and to compile statistics that show the numbers and frequency of visitors to our Website and its individual pages. These aggregated statistics are used internally to improve our Website and for product development, and for marketing purposes generally. These aggregated statistics may also be provided to advertisers and other third parties. We do not link IP addresses to any Personal Information, so although your session on the Website will be logged, you will remain anonymous to us and the Website. We use the third-party cookie DoubleClick to optimize our website based on the traffic we receive. Any collected information is used on the aggregate, and cannot personally identify visitors. 

 

NOTICE OF PHOTOGRAPHY, FILMING OR RECORDING 

Attendees and visitors to Providence Bruins games or team events understand that they may be photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded while attending, and that all photographs, recordings, and video footage taken of me by or on behalf of the Providence Bruins, PSE Agency, Dunkin’ Donuts Center or other affiliated entities while at a Providence Bruins game or team events (“Recordings”) will be the property solely of the Providence Bruins. As the owner of the Recordings, subject to the Providence Bruins’ compliance with applicable laws, the Providence Bruins has the unconditional, irrevocable right to use the Recordings in all media and formats, whether now or later known or developed.

 

SOCIAL MEDIA & OTHER DIGITAL ASSETS

The Providence Bruins, PSE Agency and its affiliate sites may use photos, comments and information you post to the Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube and other social media accounts. By posting to these accounts, you are giving the Providence Bruins and PSE Agency permission to use your likeness, photos, content and information in any advertising, promotions or media. 

TRACKING & USE OF COOKIES OR SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

Special computer code allows our system to track user activity on our site. This computer code, when implemented, is called a "cookie." Our system uses cookie technology through our localization options. When you enter your zip code and other relevant information, a cookie will assign you a unique number (with no meaning whatsoever outside the customization process) that recalls this information each time you visit. As a result, you are able to customize your browsing experiences for your interests. At no time will this cookie reveal to others your name, email address, street address, or telephone number (even if you have entered these in other areas of our system). You will always have the choice of opting out of any cookie-based activity on our site. 

 

UNSUBSCRIBING/OPTING-OUT
